  march 3-9 theocratic school material is something else.. i fully get that there are 2 major sides of thinking regarding that topic.

  but really from their own lying mouths it was a personal decision that should have been respected.

  this was not reality.

  Sacred Days

  yesterday was remembrance day/veterans days in canada.

  we had a couple younger half wits in the cong in field service yesterday.

  both are trying to climb the ladder with the entire elder body ready to die in the next 10 years.. i just of thought it was a dick move to go door to door about the merits of fighting for freedom or not fighting on such a sacred day.

  Tonus OH makes an interesting point - If everyone took the JW approach, the world would devolve into relatively small and isolated groups, and the population would decrease significantly. There's just no reason to try and keep things running on even a national level, and there's no reason to keep doing important scientific and medical research-- Jehovah will take care of that so soon that it would be a waste of time.

  This can be summed up in one word - Inshallah Arabic-language expression meaning 'if God wills'

  Hence Islamic society is so broken and backward.

  i am non political and have never voted but nonetheless i have been keenly watching to see how the trump presidential race unfolds.

  i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.

  how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

  Can I add another perspective please, what do the Chinese think about the trump win??

  Talking with a good friend in China last night, my friend said that the general feeling in China is that people are happy with a Trump win because they feel safer. My friend is head of export sales for a medium size corporation, increased tariffs are a concern, but we will just work harder, she says.

  i was raised in the religion, and both my parents died when i was very young.

  i recently stopped associating because my conscience no longer allows me to preach or support the organization.

  i was listening to a lunchtime call in radio show about jws and the personal experiences of being disfellowshiped, and a former elder called in saying he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws and their involvement in the un in the 1990s ,and he just said look it up.. thinking that it was a made up lie ,so i looked it up and it was true even a letter confirming it from the un itself and that led me here and to jwfacts and further research into the history and teachings of jw and walked out the door about 5 years ago.
