  locally, in northern california i have seen/heard a drop in jw and mainstream church attendance especially in person attendance.

  (exception: a new creepy local new-age charismatic/pentecostal group: "bethel church" 11,000 and growing mega church(kundalini yoga/sex combined with prosperity gospel, trumpism, guns, rock music, dancing, glitter, speaking in tongues, and faith healing).. for me this paragraph sums it up regarding jehovah's witnesses: " ...smith described organized religion to me as having become a “polluted” idea in the american mainstream, because of the publicity around sex abuse scandals and financial malfeasance in many different faiths in the ’80s and ’90s as millennials came of age.

  2/2025 czech news agency czech culture ministry considers deregistration of jehovah’s witnesses.

  the czech ministry of culture is considering the possible cancellation of the religious registration of the jehovah’s witnesses religious society, and has sent the organisation an appeal to desist from its illegal activities, ministry spokeswoman jana zechmeisterova told ctk today.. the ministry has received thousands of complaints from the jehovah’s witnesses about the proposal, which must be dealt with first.

  administrative proceedings have not yet been initiated, zechmeisterova said.. she said the ministry had begun to deal with the proposals it had received about the cancellation of the registration of the religious society of jehovah’s witnesses (nssj).

  i know most people here are totally out and that’s fine.. many these days are staying physically in for the social life and that is also fine.. i feel being fully mentally in is dangerous as it could be such a shock mentally if or should i say when the tower collapsed.. im sitting in the fence like so many others here.

  mentally agnostic if god exists or not and if the bible is his word.. when i talk to people who are physically and mentally still in i can tell that they so need it to be true.

  i’m worried for them when they wake up to the fact that they have been lied to 1914 wasn’t true 1975 wasn’t true 1999 wasn’t true and now here we are 2025 it’s all not true.

  The evidence for this treatment using Ivermectin and Fenbendazole is building, but you won't hear much about it in the MSM because the drugs are out of patent and can be purchased for next to nothing. Translation - these treatments represent a large financial threat to big pharma.

  i overheard a discussion between two jws, they said that when someone is disfellowshipped, they are asked to hand their blood card back to the elders.

  i had never heard of this before, is this correct?.

  it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

  "Phisically In, Mentally Out" - a song

  so, i am a musician and composer in my spare time, but serious enough to be affiliated with the national author's association.

  i have entertained the idea of writing a conceptual album about one person's personal journey into a cult, living the cult, and leaving the cult and beyond.

  i hope this will resonate, not only with jw's but with people who are going, or went, through similar journeys.

  Hey Eden One, The concept of writing music about the whole mess strikes a chord within me.

  You can enlist the help of Ai for song writing, I have messed around writing parody songs with Ai, it is very helpful.

  I like the "uncomfortably numb" that sounds like a good name for a song.
